Shereen Malherbe
Shereen Malherbe is a British Palestinian author and one of just nine global jurors for the 2026 Neustadt International Prize for Literature — an award often called the American Nobel. Her nominated author, Ibrahim Nasrallah, went on to win.
Her novel Yassini Girls was described by World Literature Today as a language of survival and resistance. She has appeared on the BBC - The Holy Land & Us (now airing), featured in Vogue Arabia, and has spent her career writing culturally authentic stories without selling out.
She built The Noble Narrative because she refused to compromise — and she wants to teach you to do the same.

This is for writers who know what it means to live between two worlds — and have a story only they can tell.
You're in the right place if:
- You have a story rooted in culture, memory, home or belonging that the world hasn't seen told with honesty and care
- You've felt pressure to make your writing more palatable, more universal, more familiar — and something in you has resisted
- You dream of being published but won't lose your voice, your truth or your integrity to get there
- You're ready to stop waiting and start writing
